Description
Port of Antwerp Bruges (POAB) wenst de Zweedse Kaai in Zeebrugge om te bouwen tot een toekomstbestendige Cruiseterminal die de operationele kosten doet dalen en bijdraagt aan een veilige en aangename cruisebeleving. Heden worden cruises afgehandeld vanuit het ABC-gebouw, iets verder gelegen van de Zweedse Kaai waardoor bus transport (tussen de terminal in het ABC-gebouw en de cruiseschepen) voor passagiers noodzakelijk is. Een nieuwe cruiseterminal op de Zweedse Kaai moet het mogelijk maken om passagiers rechtstreeks van de cruiseschepen toegang te geven tot de terminal (gebouw) - en omgekeerd -, door middel van boarding bridges (verbindingsbruggen tussen terminal en cruiseschip).
